Exploring the critical risk and cyber security benefits of adopting artificial intelligence and large language models
In this roundtable discussion, we will explore the benefits and risks of adopting artificial intelligence (AI) tools and large language models (LLMs) for cyber security defence.
Criminals are increasingly using AI to attack organisations, with one such example being the creation of highly credible audio and video deepfakes designed to strengthen phishing attacks, business email compromise and invoice fraud.
We will discuss how AI is changing the cyber security landscape and consider how the technology, and in particular the large language models used by generative AI systems such as ChatGPT, can be used to detect and respond to these cyber-threats.
We will also discuss how AI tools should be best implemented. What are the risks – technological, human and process-based – that organisations are likely to face when implementing AI-powered tools, and how can they integrate AI/LLM applications efficiently and effectively? We will reflect on the best ways of using AI when searching for possible threats, and how it can enhance any responses that organisations take when mitigating these.
This event is a platform for CISOs and other senior information security professionals to exchange insights and confront the challenges posed by these emerging technologies. The roundtable promises collaborative learning and actionable strategies for navigating a key part of the evolving cyber security landscape.
Join us for a dynamic breakfast briefing on the place of AI in cyber security, where your participation will drive insightful discussions.
The questions we will explore
During the meeting we will focus on topics such as:
- How are AI technologies changing the cyber threat landscape?
- What role does AI play in aiding malicious actors to perform attacks?
- How can AI be leveraged for more effective cyber defence?
- How can organisations combat the use of deepfakes in social engineering attacks?
- What are the key risks to integrating AI/LLMs in applications for autonomous agents?
- What emerging AI technologies are most promising or concerning for future cyber-security?
