transcosmos opens the 2nd center for transcosmos Technology Vietnam, its Vietnamese subsidiary specializing in software development
The new center is located in Hue City, central Vietnam. The city prospered as the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, and served as the national capital from 1802 to 1945. Hue City is home to many universities including Hue University, University of Foreign Languages Hue University, and Hue University of Sciences, and creates diverse talented people. The Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training has set out its plan to upgrade Hue University to a national university by 2030. Accordingly, the number of students is estimated to grow to 60,000 – 6,5000. In addition, with its population reaching 1.16 million, Hue City became a centrally-controlled city on January 1, 2025. Recognizing its growing potential and to secure development engineers and people who can serve as a bridge between Japanese and Vietnamese, the company has chosen Hue City for its second center.
